Pricing and Ordering
Basic price for a six-string guitar is $7,500, either nylon or steel, $8,500 for a harp guitar. Historical keyboards vary considerably from approx. $6,000 for a small fretted clavichord to $42,000 for a two-manual pedal clavichord. All orders include a custom soft case from Canzonet Cases (www.Cazonet.net). Custom hard cases are available at cost.
This is an artisan shop, which means nearly all features are customizable, and personalized. Musical finishing, the final stage of making an instrument, is unique to each instrument.
Once design and price are established, I require a 20% deposit to secure a place in my schedule; 40% is due when actual work begins, and 40% is due at the time of delivery.
All instruments are guaranteed for life with the original owner under normal conditions and care, and a written, warranty agreement is signed when accepting a new instrument.
